If your favourite club isn’t on Spectata yet, it doesn’t mean they’ve been forgotten — it just means we’re building the platform properly, club by club, instead of trying to cover everyone at once. We’ve started with a first wave of clubs so we can give each one real attention, deeper stories, and a better experience for their supporters. You can help shape what comes next: you can nominate a club to be added and even apply to become a Spectata Ambassador to help introduce your club to a global audience.

Spectata is built first and foremost around lower-league and smaller football clubs. You may see older content on other sports from the early days of the site, but the focus going forward is very clear: real football, real clubs, and the people who follow them

The Spectata platform runs on Disciple’s community technology, which means the Digital Terrace sits on top of a proven set of tools for member profiles, groups and conversations. Spectata brings the lower-league focus, the content and the fan culture; Disciple powers the infrastructure that makes it feel like a proper home rather than a hacked-together group chat. It’s a bit like a club choosing a stadium partner: the terraces are still your home, but they’re built on solid foundations.

Spectata is independent. We work with ambassadors and supporters’ groups to tell their club’s story well, and we’re open to partnerships where they make sense, but we’re not owned by or controlled by any club. That independence matters because it lets us stay fan-first and honest about what following each club really feels like.

Spectata is funded through memberships and, over time, sales of guides and other fan-led products. That lets us keep the focus on serving fans and clubs, not on selling your attention to advertisers or chasing short-term trends. As we grow, we’ll keep looking for ways to share value back into the clubs and supporter communities that make the Digital Terrace possible

Spectata features a wide range of football clubs, from all over the world, but they all share the fact that they are lower league, smaller clubs. We won't feature the mutli-million pound clubs, there are a lot of places that already do that and do it very well. Our aim is to showcase the clubs which don't get a spotlight outside of their immediate community to a wider audience.

Our payments are handled by Stripe, a hugely trusted and respected payment gateway. Via Stripe, we accept various payment methods including credit cards and PayPal, as well as Klarna which allows you to pay in instalments. Choose the one that suits you best during the checkout process.
